After two days of non-stop activity, it’s time to engage in serious self-care. Many resort-based spas in Scottsdale offer day rates to the public, allowing non-guests to use the fabulous facilities. The Phoenician (6000 E. Camelback Rd.) operates the Centre for Well-Being, which offers chakra balancing and naturopathic wellness consultations in addition to the more traditional menu of massages, facials and wraps. Or, if you're looking to spend the day (and not a fortune), visit the Lamar Everyday Spa (5115 N. Scottsdale Rd.). This spa offers excellent services at excellent prices - be sure to drop by to enjoy the island atmosphere. You can also pamper yourself poolside at the FireSky Resort & Spa (4925 N. Scottsdale Rd), which is owned by Kimpton and has a great pool scene during the day.
Once you’re cleansed and balanced, visit Taliesin West (12621 N. Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd.), the winter home and architectural school of legendary architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The facility’s bookstore is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and public tours are given throughout the year.
For your final night in Scottsdale, eat at Cielo at the Hotel Theodore (7353 E. Indian School Rd.). The restaurant combines elements of Italian cuisine.
