This dazzling exhibit chronicles the development of American Indian gold jewelry from the 1960s to the present, featuring stunning items from the Heard Museum's permanent collection. At the approach of the 21st century, young American Indian jewelers developed skills and their individual design perspectives by attending universities known for their art departments. Over the years, jewelers began to use different metals, such as steel and new techniques to achieve diverse forms and designs. Each artist brings his or her personal aesthetic and experiences to the work resulting in an exhibit that is a must-see for any jewelry lover. Works by Charles Loloma (Hopi), Harvey Begay (Navajo), Charles Supplee (Hopi/French) and the collaborative work of Yazzie Johnson (Navajo) and Gail Bird (Santo Domingo/Laguna) will be on display. Other well-known contemporary jewelers included in the exhibit are Denise Wallace (Aleut), Victor Beck (Navajo), Shawn Bluejacket (Shawnee), Larry Golsh (Pala Mission), Edison Cummings (Navajo), Elizabeth Wallace (Navajo/Maidu/Washoe), Keri Ataumbi (Kiowa) and Maria Samora (Taos).

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright's winter home, studio and architectural campus, Phoenix Art Museum presents a major exhibition offering a fresh perspective on the celebrated architect and designer's seven-decade career. Frank Lloyd Wright: Organic Architecture for the 21st Century surveys more than 150 works, including drawings -33 of which have never been exhibited publicly- scale models, furniture, and photography as well as video footage.

Reflecting on Wright's impact during his lifetime and his significance today, the retrospective will highlight the many triumphs of Wright's career and focus on his grand opus of suburban planning, Living City (1958) which, though never realized, was the culmination of all his work. This blueprint for Wright's urban utopia vision incorporated the natural environment into everyday life

Enhancing the Arizona Fine Art EXPO is the charming Café de EXPO, where patrons can sit indoors surrounded by working artists, or outdoors surrounded by stunning life-sized to monumental sculptures.

Our sponsors, Zuva Gallery, Pathways Nursery and The Arizona Bridge Company, have worked together to create our two-acre Sculpture Garden. Natural stone sculptures, created by leading African artists nestle amongst native cacti, shrubs and desert plants.  Contemporary sculpture works can be admired while reclining by the Koi pond, or the hummingbird and butterfly garden, while listening to our weekend musical entertainment.
